This is a Direct Hire Open Continuous Announcement (OCA) for Nurse (Same Day Surgery/Post Anesthesia Care Unit/Operating Room) for the Integrated Surgical Services department at the Phoenix Indian Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona and will report to the Supervisory Nurse onsite. Nurse will assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care for a diverse patient population of surgical patients, with minimal supervisory assistance when giving direct patient care.

-Develops and participates in patient care plans involving assessment and evaluation of patient needs.
-Selects, prepares, and processes supplies, instruments and special equipment for specific procedures; anticipating possible complications.
-Functions as a scrub or circulating nurse on all types of procedures, providing care by meeting the physical, psychological and technical needs of the patient during surgical intervention.
-Must demonstrate the ability to administer procedural sedation.
-Meets the needs of the surgeon and anesthesia personnel by assisting with induction and problems during the course of surgery.
