This is a Direct Hire Open Continuous Announcement (OCA) for a Permanent Full-Time Community Health Nurse for the Nursing – Public Health Nursing Department at the Whiteriver Service Unit (WRSU) in Whiteriver, Arizona. RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct epidemiological and community surveys, field investigations, and research studies to appraise health needs.

Assess and diagnose needs and set up a plan of action; participate with interdisciplinary team; and work with Tribal, State and County agencies in planning related activities.

Plan and provide comprehensive nursing services to individuals, families, and communities; provide skilled nursing services to individuals and families in homes, schools, and/or outreach clinics.

Provide patient teaching services and/or outreach clinics.

Provide patient teaching services and assist with understanding, accepting, and adjusting to the implications and responsibilities of medical care, diagnosis, and treatment.
